Our Enhanced Rider Scheme (ERS) helps you to develop new skills and receive discounts from most motorcycle insurance brokers. This scheme was designed for fully licensed motorcyclists who would like to improve specific areas of their riding capability, and due to its catered nature, it can be as intensive or casual as you would like.
To participate all you need to do is book an ERS assessment via an expert trainer from the DSA, the purpose of these assessments is to gain an initial idea of your strengths and weaknesses behind the wheel. Whilst there is no pass or fail process such as seen in a driving test, your skills still need to be deemed satisfactory in order to receive an ERS certificate.
Trading since 2004, MMT Motorcycle Training remains the most prominent training school in the whole South Durham and Cleveland areas. Since our founding we have welcomed aboard 10 instructors, 5 of which are Cardington approved meaning they can deliver Direct Access, adding the versatility to meet all of your training requirements.

Catterick is a village located within the Richmondshire region of North Yorkshire and is famously thought to be the site of the Battle of Catraeth, which took place around AD 600. This is a sign that, just like most of this region, Catterick is the site of deep-rooted history.
However, if this isn’t what you plan for on your visit, you may want to visit the nearby Foxglove Covert Nature Reserve, this 100-acre moorland edge has a wide range of native species making this nature-filled area a very pleasant location for a family outing.
Also, the Catterick Racecourse is host to a range of events all year round and is also well known as a friendly venue for anyone who visits.
